Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using PayLayer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PayLayer provides creator infrastructure for payments, authentication, identity, sessions, entitlements, subscription management, store checkout, developer APIs, webhooks, and Proof Receipts.

3. Creator Obligations

Creators are responsible for their products, applications, websites, stores, customer support, fulfillment, refunds, legal compliance, user disclosures, and correct integration of PayLayer APIs and webhooks. Creator applications must not misrepresent PayLayer verification or Proof Receipts.

4. Authentication, Identity, and Sessions

Applications using PayLayer authentication must treat PayLayer as the source of truth for user session and access state. Creators must protect backend routes, validate PayLayer sessions, and avoid bypassing entitlement checks for protected features.

5. Entitlements and Subscription Handling

PayLayer may grant, expire, revoke, or update entitlements based on subscriptions, purchases, manual administrative actions, trials, coupons, or other supported commerce events. Applications should check access through PayLayer instead of relying on local subscription assumptions.

6. API Usage

You must keep merchant API keys, webhook secrets, admin credentials, and store secret keys confidential. You may not abuse, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass PayLayer APIs, rate limits, security controls, or payment verification systems.

7. Fees and Credits

PayLayer charges 1% of successfully processed revenue. The fee is deducted from the creator's prepaid credit balance. No monthly subscription or setup fee applies unless separately agreed in writing.

8. Cryptocurrency Payments

PayLayer facilitates USDT TRC-20 payments. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Customer payments go directly to the creator's registered merchant USDT wallet. PayLayer does not take custody of customer funds.

9. Store Checkout

For store checkout, the merchant's website creates the order and calculates the total. PayLayer creates the payment session, tracks blockchain payment, sends order.paid webhooks, and generates Proof Receipts. Merchants remain responsible for catalog, inventory, fulfillment, delivery, and customer service.

10. Proof Receipts

Proof Receipts are tamper-evident records of PayLayer-side events. They do not prove shipment, delivery, product quality, merchant honesty, product authenticity, or legal finality.

11. Suspension and Abuse

PayLayer may suspend or restrict accounts, API keys, checkout, sessions, entitlements, stores, webhooks, or dashboard access for suspected fraud, abuse, sanctions risk, security risk, terms violations, or platform integrity issues.

12. Limitation of Liability

PayLayer is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service, blockchain delays, third-party wallet behavior, failed integrations, or creator-side fulfillment issues.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of PayLayer after changes constitutes acceptance.
